Snare is a passion project that im working on, it’s a story based on characters I made along with my friend Oat. I started working on this story in May 2025, however the original story is scattered in old instagram messages, it is partially based on an old role play, however I’ve added many new characters and storylines.
Snare is a story that mainly follows the life of a pop star in the year, 2102 in Los Angeles. In this time there are mutant genes that affect several people throughout the world. Yet it is shamed by many and even is up for debate in political offices that are corrupted by companies that fund their campaigns.
Despite the main focus being the pop star Jasper, there are many other characters that are sewn into her life and become tangled in her issues.
In this story I wanted to touch on class issues, racism, homophobia, government corruption and most importantly the “Power of Love” its very corny but I've always been obsessed with love, platonic or romantic its so strong in almost every story we see.
Currently Snare has over 17,000 words, it’s only 7 chapters but I'm trying to work on it while tackling college. I hope to have this done by the time I graduate and all the support I've gotten from my friends, followers and my boyfriend mean the world to me.
